Coming from a traditional town in India, beauty and self-care was driven by safe techniques and natural ingredients in my family and I seemed to have a way with things when it came to handling them. I was always passionate about looking my best and it made me extremely happy when I could help others look beautiful as well. After my marriage, I came to the United States in 2006, where I could ignite my passion by pursuing a career in an area where I was the most passionate about, health and beauty. I started to specialize in eye care, starting as a threading artist. It was a perfect blend of safety and effectiveness to enhance a person’s natural beauty and decided that it was going to be my life goal to help others enhance their beauty and self-confidence through these methods. My husband’s job involved a lot of travelling and during our travel to Australia in 2012, I discovered the art of permanent makeup and microblading eyebrows. After I had my microblading done, I was very excited with the results and got certified as one of the early permanent makeup technicians in the world. I came back to the United States in 2014, obtained my permanent makeup license, and started Lux Brows specializing in delivering only the highest quality threading and permanent makeup services to our clients. After spending years learning about customizing eyebrows shapes and colors for permanent make-up, I have started to impart that knowledge to our students and have successfully helped create many more permanent make-up artists over the past 5 years.
