Logesh and Rachel grew up in two completely different worlds… well, two different continents to be exact. Logesh was born and raised in the beautiful tropical country of Malaysia. Since young he has been filled with passion and perseverance in all that he does. His father has been a wedding photographer since the days of film photography, and Logesh became his apprentice as he grew older. Following in his father’s footsteps, Logesh quickly fell in love with wedding photography. But more than that, he fell in love with documenting people’s stories. Rachel grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, rich in diversity and culture. She has always loved making others happy and she enjoys sharing in people’s joy. For Rachel, photography is a gateway of being a part of life’s beautiful moments. To be able to capture the expression of a groom seeing his bride for the first time, witnessing the tenderness of a father-daughter dance, watching a family come together in love, those are the moments that she loves and adores. Once their world’s collided, Logesh and Rachel were never the same. They quickly learned that their unique gifts and talents complimented one another’s perfectly. Rachel pieces together all the small details, while Logesh envisions a bigger picture. Working in tandem, they create photographs that tell the most wonderful and sincere stories. We do our upmost best to avoid interfering with the wedding preparation and festivities. Our goal is to blend into the background the majority of the time (except for portrait sessions). We want to capture the day as it unfolds, without excessive coaching, posing or interruption. This keeps the story fresh, authentic and more genuinely reflects the family, setting, and mood of the day. The outcome will be an artistic story, rather than a collection of snapshots
