Ashley is a Southerner from Atlanta and obtained her degree in Photojournalism from the University of Georgia in 1998. After graduation, she began her career in Client Service at Ogilvy & Mather, a national advertising firm. Soon after, she became the Studio Manager for celebrity wedding photojournalist, Denis Reggie. During her tenure, Ashley lead the studio's efforts in client service and production and also served as a second shooter at many high-profile events. One of Ashley's photographs was published as a full page in Town & Country Magazine in 2002.In 2003, Ashley stepped out on her own as a freelance photojournalist. She also worked as a Company Photographer for Missy McLamb Photographers in Raleigh, NC for several years. Now, 14 years after forming Blencoe & Co. Photographic Arts, Ashley works throughout the SouthEast for discerning clients who place a high value on the artistry of their personal photography. Ashley accepts 10-15 weddings per year and typically documents 125+ various family sessions each year. She also enjoys mixing up her workload with editorial, commercial and event photography
