My photographer dad gave me my first SLR at age 9 and I was a trigger happy child. I fell in love with the light, the dark and the seamless interplay between the two. A large chunk of my adolescent years was spent in darkrooms developing pictures of my stately old neighbor in his rocking chair, the monsoons visiting the porch of my ancestral Kerala home, my grandmother''s wrinkly but wise hands, and capturing colors in their myriad moody shades, then I grew up. Things stopped ''developing'' when I moved to a corporate job. I did learn the essential skills of survival and had a steady paycheck. Five years and more than fifty beautiful weddings later, here I am, only left wanting more. The challenge of capturing the ''happily ever after'' of two people in love has got me hooked. And of course the mouthwatering food and the amazing friends I get to make are added perks
